Mamie Taylor

A lost classic of a Scotch whisky cocktail – super-refreshing, simple and quick to make. Cool and spicy ginger beer mixed with Artist Blend or Glasgow Blend makes this a real thirst-quencher for warmer weather. Scroll down for the method.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz of Glasgow Blend
  • ¼ oz of fresh lime juice
  • 4 oz of good quality ginger beer
  • Garnish with a lime wedge or grapefruit wedge
  • 50ml of Glasgow Blend
  • 10ml of fresh lime juice
  • 100ml of good quality ginger beer
  • Garnish with a lime wedge or grapefruit wedge

METHOD

Squeeze lime into an ice filled Collins glass.
Add the whisky and top with ginger beer.
Stir gently and garnish with a wedge of lime or grapefruit.
Serve, and enjoy.
