We had been fortunate to work with Andrew Ferguson of Kensington Wine Makret for many years, bringing our Compass Box whiskies to the Scotch enthusaists of Canada and for years had been talking about creating a bespoke whisky for him. With the 25th aniiversary of Kensington Wine Makret we decided to name it in honour of the anniversary. Developed from an original brief by Andrew, this blend is a showpiece for the deep complexity that well-aged malt and grain whiskies from exception oak casks can deliver - a fitting tribue to Kensington Wine Market, and also to Alberta's long history of enjoying, exploring and indeed smuggling fine whisky!
